- They were both given to me to review.
- I’m intrigued by them both!
- I don’t know how to best write about either of them and only have time for a quick round up!
I love being me. I get offered all sorts of stuff to review and turn most of it down. But I rather liked the sound of the email offering me a Pranamat Eco. Here’s the blurb about what it is, on the Pranamat website:
“You deserve the highest quality, so simply choose the unique Pranamat ECO all-natural massage mat today. It increases tissue metabolic pressures, your rate of blood microcirculation, the secretion of beta—endorphins, and growth factors. It also works to reduce muscle or joint inflammation; plus its superb design incorporates traditional acupressure principles to help stimulate mind and spiritual growth, as it significantly revitalizes your body.”
So, you lie on this – front or back, clothed or not clothed. I recommend that you start out clothed and laying your back on it – definitely not your front as your boobage will not appreciate it. Before you do that though, you’ll need to make sure that you have found a quiet place to lay down – where your children won’t come and jump on you. That place also needs to be dog free as well – there’s nothing like the dog deciding to come and sit on you when you’re not expecting it, doing deep belly breathing!
I can buy into the things above, but I do not buy into this as being something that works on cellulite. And nor do I think it’s a £90.00 product. I wonder if I’m the right person for this product – I don’t have enough space in my life to take twenty minutes a day to do this – I’d rather spend it stretching and moving. So what I’m going to do is give this to Louise Palmer Masterton to try – she’s a client who owns CamYoga. I think she’d be far better at trying this – she can sit still for 20 minutes for a start! The other thing that I’ve been given to review is a sports bra. It’s not just any sports bra though – rather surreally, as my boys are age nine and seven, I’m reviewing a nursing sports bra! The reason why I’ve chosen to review it is that I have fond memories of my nursing bra’s being the most comfy that I’ve ever had. The ‘Activate Sports Flexiwire Nursing Bra’ in Royal Blue is lush!! I don’t know how to explain what the underwiring style material does not feel to be like under wiring. I think it’s like a plastic, curved, support. So long pointy bits under the armpits. So long wiring coming through the middle of your boobage. I’m really impressed. I’ve machine washed it a few times and it’s surviving there as well. And it’s so comfy that I don’t have to do the “home is the where the bra isn’t” manouvere immediately on coming into the house after being away from home for the day.
According to Hotmilk:
Activate features wide comfort sports elastic under the bust to anchor the bra to the body, padded front straps for comfort and a flexible underwire for support and shaping. The Topcool Mesh in the cup panels and back provides breathable panels for a cooler workout. The Coolmax cotton blend lined cups provide added comfort during exercise, wicking the moisture away from the body and the Coolmax outer fabric both wicks moisture away from body and dries quickly.
Whatever it is, I’m loving it. Not so much that I’m sharing a picture of me wearing it though. I’m not doing an Annie Spratt special.
So, that’s my review round up for the moment. I’ve got a pair of cushions en route and a pair of super warm socks and a super warm blanket for the boys. No really, I have socks and cushions in the next round up. I know, I am so rock n roll.
