“I beg your pardon? What did you say?”
That’s me, to my beautiful 5 year old son. who still picks his nose and wipes it on his shirt.
“Mummy, I said can you give me a sentence with a split diagraph in it, using the letters a and e, in that order?” <followed by long sigh>….
“errrrrrrrr, Daddy Weston, any ideas?”
Daddy Weston is at this point, giggling and has frankly lost it on the other side of the table.
I think we need to file this in “Things I never expected to hear from William, at age 5, or even age 15.” I am so proud of him. He learns, listens and picks everything up. And can still find time to wipe his snot on his shirt. He’s multi talented. Like his Mummy.
And for anyone who does not know what a split diagraph is:
1. Durrrrrr, where have you been????
2. Here’s a link. So you don’t get left looking confused like I did tonight.
PS. Like how I got the screenshot on an appropriate word???? 😉
PPS. What have you learnt from your children recently?
