Our 48 hours in Paris was rather special for a number of reasons:
1. We only had 38 hours in Paris and yet we still saw lots of really interesting and cool stuff.
2. Whilst in Paris, on the Saturday, I walked 19,777 steps. This is the most I can remember – ever. Normally I walk 3K of steps a day, so this represents heading for a whole week of walking!
3. I discovered the handbag of my dreams in Longchamp. I am more pleased about this than my husband is.
4. I had the very best French Onion soup of my life at the Wepler Brasserie.
5. We visited the Louvre and both got very, very excited about the clear fronted, and free, lockers!!! They were really cool!!!
6. Because we didn’t bring the boys a cuddly toy – but instead – a grown up china cup with a dog on it. The boys loved them.
We stayed at the Hotel Kipling, had dinner at Wepler brasserie – yes, the one where Picasso used to hang out, had the VIP experience at the Moulin Rouge, visited the Louvre and walked up a Very Steep Hill to the Sacre Cour !!!
So, that’s 48 hours in Paris. What did you do in the last 48 hours?
