Hi, I’m Liz aka CambridgeMummy – on twitter I’m @TheLizWeston and I’m coming to BlogFest tomorrow. I’m looking forward to meeting lots of new bloggers and seeing what the speakers have to offer. I’m going to try very hard to use my phone as little as possible in the day, to be able to record the overwhelming noise that we will all be making when Caitlin Moran takes to the stage/whatever it is to do her keynote. Sorry Miriam what’s er name, but I’m there for some Caitlin worshipping…

About me – full info in the about me page, but in summary, I’m married to Lovely Bloke, have two sons and work full time running a social media, pr and comms agency. I also own a couple of other businesses, but the one I mentioned is the most fun! We live in Cambridge and we have a fabulous life together – Lovely Bloke is a stay at home Dad, who this very evening, has been making Thor masks with the boys out of all sorts of crafting stuff. I have an aversion to glitter so they use everything but that when crafting!

Think that’s everything I’m supposed to share, until I’ve had a jug of Pimms….

If you already know me, and that I’m prone to being a miserable old trout and spending too much time worrying about whether I’ll fit in….

I’m wearing jeggings, knee high brown boots, American Vintage top, Dranella vest and StyleSnob necklace. And for me, that’s making an effort. And instead of taking full kit, I’m just taking an old fashioned notebook and pens. And my phone. Wouldn’t be without it….

If you look at the #MumsnetBlogFest you’ll see some people are going all out. I’m not. I am praying that this isn’t going to be a load of women being up themselves and flouncing about. I’m hoping for a mix of people – new, old, geeky, fashionable, earnest and silly bloggers.

I’ll report back tomorrow night, or maybe Sunday morning, on what I thought of it…
