It’s Saturday, 6am. I’m here on the sofa because Scout needed to go out for a morning wee. I could have hit the sofa with a blanket but I wanted to write an update. Why?
BECAUSE WE MOVED HOUSE!!!!!!
BECAUSE I STARTED A FULL TIME JOB WORKING FOR BELBIN HIGH PERFORMING TEAMS!!!!!!

Before I write woe, woe and thrice woe, lets all be clear. We are totally fine. We are happy. I have actively chosen – and wanted – all of the the changes that we are experiencing. We are all doing really well. There’s no need for an intervention. Unless you’re bringing Shelford Deli hot chocolate in which case my leg is metaphorically hanging off and will only be rescued by thrice daily doses of that beautiful liquid.
Anyway…
We moved from Cambridge Road on the 15th March and are now renovating a bigger house, which is tired and needs some love. That’s my polite phrasing for ‘OH MY GOD’ and ‘HOW DID WE NOT SEE JUST HOW KNACKERED THIS HOUSE IS BEFORE BUYING IT’. We spent the first weekend walking around the house trying not to cry each time we found something extra that is wrong with it. I’m going to do a series of posts on house renovation and set up a separate category – I’ll link to it from our house renovation instagram feed and see where we get to. It’s going to be at least five years of work. We will need to save up for each bit of work we do.
