Disclaimer: Thinking Slimmer is totally one of my clients. And I’m totally pimping them via this blog post. But it’s not actually part of my work for them – it’s something that I want to share, with you…
My Christmas gift for 2012, is two fold. One part of my Christmas gift to you it is a free download, to help you manage your eating over Christmas. You don’t *have* to put on a minimum of 5lbs if you don’t want to. (Apparently, research shows people put on, on average, at least 5lbs…) You can still eat and enjoy food, but you don’t need to do it to a point where you beat yourself up about it afterwards….
And the other part of my gift to you, is to share something that I’ve learnt this year. And here it is… <drumroll> accept yourself for who you are physically – wobbly bits, attractive bits and things that you are still working on….
I’m not suggesting for a moment that I’ve managed it completely. But I’m making progress. And listening to my Slimpod is helping me, so I want to share it with you. Since August, I’ve not gained any more weight. And over the last few months, as a whole, I’ve not lost any – in fact, I’ve been up and down, but I’ve not gained anything. And that’s a big thing to me. You’ll see from my twitter feed that I’ve been to the chippy for lunch today. And that’s ok. Because tomorrow I’ll be eating granola and fat free yoghurt and enjoying that just as much as my chips. It’s that acceptance that I’m talking about.
I know that I’m rambling. But this is my Christmas gift to you:
1. To tell you to download this Thinking Slimmer audio track for free
2. To tell you to accept yourself, because it makes life much better when you do
There we have it. A practical gift and a top tip. Enjoy xx
