I have had a lifelong love and hate relationship with jeans. When I find some that fit and that I love, I think to myself “they’ll be here next time I need them so I won’t buy extras to keep in the wardrobe”. How wrong am I to do that??? !!!! So last time I bought some jeggings to wear with boots, I got three pairs. Being someone who works for myself, and with a team that I love, I can wear jeans and encourage everyone else to wear whatever they are most comfortable in as well! This means that I’ve worn through them in 10 months. So now, I’ve got the challenge of going to buy some jeans and also, for the first time in many, many years, I’m going to be buying some a size smaller than I did last time – not a size bigger. This is a big thing for me. I’ll be looking for some jeans in a size 18 instead of a size 20. I’ll still be shopping at the Plus Size shop – Evans. But I don’t mind. I just want something that fits me and make my bum look good.
The problem lies in the fact that I don’t know what style to go for!! Should I stick to jeggings, or venture to something else? I’m shopping solo, so I assume I’ll just ask for help in the shop itself. We’ll see :))
I last checked in with my Cambridge Weight Plan consultant 8 days ago – she was away in New York for a long weekend, so I am next seeing her tomorrow. I lost 5.75 lbs in my first week, but I am not counting the .75 lbs right now. I only count whole lbs. So tomorrow, should be a good day as it’s more than seven days. I also know that I’ve eaten out several times so if I’ve lost a couple of lbs, I’ll be happy enough. From here on in, I’m able to commit again and I’m happy with that.
Anyway, wish me luck as I go off to find some jeans that fit, and will fit for a while to come, as my body continues to change in shape and size. I’m in this for the long haul, so thank you for your patience until I update on this topic next!
Me :)) x
