The sun is finally starting to come through and guess what’s happened? My most precious, beautiful and beloved sparkly converse silver trainers have worn through on the right heel. But only on the right heel. I don’t know how or why but it’s fair to say that I am gutted. I loved them so much. So now I need to find something else to wear this summer – and it won’t be sandals as I get hair on my big toe and do not do nail polish on my toes either.
There’s 20% off on several dresses at Boden today, which makes me happy. But without the right pair of shoes I don’t know which dresses to look at. There are plenty of places to buy dresses, but with my still being overweight I am looking for things that will continue to fit me as I continue to lose my weight. This makes it a bit tricky.
Sainsbury’s have been my go to place for so long, for stripy tops to pair with trousers and shorts, but they seem to not be doing any this year. So now I’m wondering if dresses would be a solution – easier to wear in a morning?
The other thing I’m considering is just wearing one uniform for work every day. Why? Because it would give me longer in bed, more time to chat with the boys and I’d have less stress over my “what does this go with” internal conversations. I saw someone has done it online and I don’t mind saying, that I quite like the idea of it. Or perhaps an outfit for a month? Seasonally?
